Expert Grooming & Personalized Styling

At Total Dog & A Little Cat, grooming is more than just a haircut—it’s an art form. Under the careful hands of John (also known affectionately as Jon), Michelle, and their talented team, dogs and cats receive precision cuts that showcase each pet’s unique personality. Customers rave, “They do an amazing job with grooming dogs … our dog loves going there and when we pick her up she greets us like she was totally pampered.” From breed-standard trims to creative looks, every session is tailored to your pet’s coat texture, body shape, and comfort level. The result? A finished look so polished that tails wag and whiskers perk.

Caring for Nervous & Anxious Pets

One of the hallmarks of Total Dog & A Little Cat is its uncanny ability to soothe even the most anxious animals. Reviewers share stories of rescue dogs and first-time groomees who transformed from trembling to trusting. “My dog has extreme anxiety issues. Jon and his crew are excellent at working with my little guy,” one owner notes. The team’s patient approach—slow introductions, gentle handling, and reassuring words—creates a low-stress environment where fearful pets can relax. Special attention to body language and pacing ensures that nail trims, ear cleaning, and full grooms are pain-free and calm experiences.

Friendly, Professional Service

Professionalism shines through in every interaction at Total Dog & A Little Cat. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with friendly smiles and a genuine eagerness to help. First-time visitors often comment on the warm welcome: “What a great experience! Friendly and courteous staff! Better than five-star rating!” The team takes time to discuss your pet’s needs and preferences, answer questions, and offer grooming tips to maintain that freshly groomed look at home. It’s this blend of expert advice and down-to-earth kindness that keeps customers coming back.
