Bucks County Playhouse is a regional theater in New Hope, PA, that opened on July 1, 1939 on the site of a 1790 grist mill on the banks of the Delaware River.
The Playhouse stages full productions, with Rock of Ages running October 10 to November 1 and Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn from November 19 to January 3. The Playhouse Deck restaurant and bar is on site, a drink from the bar comes into the theater in a show tumbler, and no row needs steps to reach it. New Hope's Main Street starts at the door.
