Carlisle Fairgrounds is an 82-acre event ground in Carlisle, PA, where Carlisle Events stages its collector car shows and swap meets from April to October, from Spring Carlisle to Corvettes at Carlisle and Fall Carlisle.
Spring and Fall Carlisle fill 8,100 vendor spaces along 16 miles of paved roadway with parts, memorabilia and a car corral, with a two-day auction at the Expo Center next door; the brand nationals between them (Ford, GM, Chrysler, Truck, Import and Performance, Corvettes) each take over the grounds for a weekend. Kids 12 and under get in free, and Sunday at Spring Carlisle is free for everyone, gates 7 a.m. to noon.
Before you go
Bring cash for the flea market, comfortable shoes, sunscreen and water; you are outdoors all day. Tickets are cheaper online and full price at the gate. Students 13 and up get $5 tickets on the day with a school ID. Pets are discouraged and must stay leashed; none in the food court.
