Weaver's Orchard turns the last stretch of October into a full day on the farm. Families can pick their own fall favorites, ride out on a hayride, walk the sunflower field and climb its viewing tower, and choose pumpkins straight from the patch. The goats and chickens are ready for visitors, and the market is stocked with apples, pumpkins, and seasonal gifts.
Kids have plenty of room to run, with duck races, apple bobbing, pumpkin ring toss, bowling and tic tac toe, corn bins, a playground, and a hay bale play area that includes tunnels, a ball pit, and a small maze. On this date, DKer's Juggling performs at 10am and again at 12:15, and the Hunkajunk Band plays from 1pm to 5pm.
Food is part of the fun. Sammy's Fries, Bop Hop Cotton Candy, We Are PA Proud, and JR's Brisket are on site, while the Food Shed serves apple pie focaccia, apple cider lemonade, loaded chili, and warm apple pie with whipped cream. Stop by the ice cream shed for an apple cider slushie float with cider donuts, or settle in at Kim's Cafe.
