Homeschool families can spend a morning in medieval Europe at the Reading Public Museum. Educators from the Museum lead special tours paired with hands-on projects, guiding visitors through knights, castles, and the kinds of clues that help us understand how people lived centuries ago.

The program is designed for elementary school age students, and younger and older siblings are welcome to join in, so the whole family can explore together. Expect a mix of gallery time and making, with plenty of room for questions along the way.

Reservations are required in advance, with a deadline of the Monday before the program. Families looking for a different date or subject can ask the Museum about private homeschool workshop options.
