Freight House Grand Reopening / USA 250th Anniversary Festival
Sat, Sep 19, 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM · Heritage Park, Sinking Spring

About the event
Sinking Spring Borough marks two occasions at once this afternoon at Heritage Park. The restored Freight House opens its doors to the public, and the borough pairs that milestone with a celebration of the nation's 250th anniversary.
The gathering brings together food, local vendors, and entertainment across the park grounds, making it an easy stop for families and for anyone curious to see what the Freight House looks like after its return to use. The building has long been a landmark near the rail line that shaped this stretch of Berks County, and the reopening gives neighbors a chance to walk through it and take in the space.
The festival runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., so there is room to browse the vendors, grab something to eat, and still make the rest of your Saturday. Heritage Park sits along Penn Avenue in Sinking Spring with parking nearby.
Hosted by Sinking Spring Borough on BerksConnect.
