Hay Creek Apple Festival and Flea and Craft Market
Sun, Oct 11, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM · 1250 Furnace Road, Geigertown · Free admission; parking donation requested

About the event
The Hay Creek Apple Festival and Flea and Craft Market returns to the grounds of Historic Joanna Furnace in Geigertown, hosted by the Hay Creek Valley Historical Association. The site is one of Berks County's landmark pieces of iron-making history, and the festival puts those stone ruins and open fields to good use for a full day of autumn browsing and eating.
Apples are the centerpiece, alongside a flea and craft market where vendors set up across the grounds with handmade goods, collectibles, and seasonal finds. Gates open early at 7:00 AM for shoppers who like first pick of the tables, and the day runs through 3:00 PM on Sunday.
Admission is free, with a donation requested for parking that supports the association's preservation work at the furnace. Comfortable shoes are a good idea, since the grounds are large and mostly open ground.
Hosted by Joanna Furnace Complex on BerksConnect.
