The Reading-Berks Guild of Craftsmen brings its Holiday Fine Art and Craft Festival to the Hamburg Field House, filling the hall with work from more than 75 juried artisans. The juried format means shoppers browse alongside a carefully selected group of makers known for craftsmanship and creativity.
Expect handmade pieces suited to gift giving and to keeping, from pottery and jewelry to fiber, wood, and fine art. The setting is an intimate one, where artists talk directly with visitors about their inspirations and techniques. Live music plays through the day, and an on-site cafe gives you a place to sit down between aisles.
With doors open from morning through late afternoon, there is room to take your time. It is an easy stop for anyone in northern Berks looking to start holiday shopping early and buy straight from the people who made the work.
