Kutztown University opens its campus for Homecoming Saturday, a day built around Golden Bear football and the gatherings that surround it. The morning begins with the Pour, Roar & Score pregame in South Dining Hall from 9 to 11 a.m., where guests can enjoy a breakfast buffet, a photo booth and a DJ spinning music from across the decades. Alumni marking milestone graduation anniversaries are recognized during the celebration.
Families can visit the KU Foundation Cub Tent on the DMZ lawn from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., which is free to attend, and stop by open houses at Johnson Hall, the Multicultural Center and the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center between 10 a.m. and noon. Tailgate registration opens at 11 a.m. at the Student Recreation Center, with food served beginning at 11:30 a.m. and seating limited.
Kickoff against West Chester follows at noon at Keystone Field. After the game, the 5th Quarter Party runs from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in South Dining Hall with food, music and plenty of time to catch up with classmates, friends and neighbors before the day winds down.
