About the event
The Reading Roots Market brings farm vendors and fresh local produce to GoggleWorks Center for the Arts in downtown Reading for a midday shopping trip you can build an afternoon around. Alongside the produce tables, visitors will find free art demonstrations, Story Time presented by the Reading Public Library, movement activities, and live animal talks that appear on the schedule monthly.
Rotating entertainment runs from noon to 1 PM, so the performances and activities change from week to week. Vendors and offerings can shift as the season goes on, which gives regulars something new to look for each visit.
This is a welcoming weekly gathering for families, downtown workers on a break, and anyone shopping for ingredients for the week ahead. Vendors accept SNAP/EBT, FMNP, cash, and cards.
