The Reading Roots Market brings farm vendors and fresh local produce to GoggleWorks Center for the Arts on Thursday, September 24, opening at 11:00 AM. It is a midday stop in downtown Reading where you can pick up ingredients for the week, wander a bit, and take in the creative energy of the arts campus while you shop.

Alongside the produce, the market fills out with free activities for a range of ages. Expect art demonstrations, Story Time presented by the Reading Public Library, movement activities, and rotating entertainment scheduled from noon to 1:00 PM. Live animal talks appear on the calendar monthly, and the mix of vendors and programming shifts from week to week.

SNAP/EBT, FMNP, cash, and cards are accepted by the market. Activities and vendors are subject to change, so treat each visit as its own small outing, whether you are shopping with purpose or simply spending an hour with family in the middle of the day.
