About the event
Reading Roots Market brings farm vendors and fresh local produce to GoggleWorks Center for the Arts in downtown Reading for a midday gathering that is easy to fold into a Thursday. Stop in to shop for ingredients, browse what area growers brought in, and spend a little time downtown while you are at it.
There is more here than shopping. Free art demonstrations, Story Time with the Reading Public Library, movement activities, and live animal talks are part of the mix, and rotating entertainment fills the hour from noon to one with performances and activities that change week to week. Families are a natural fit, with activities geared toward all ages.
SNAP/EBT, FMNP, cash, and cards are accepted. Vendors and activities vary from week to week, so each visit brings something a little different.
