About the event
JCWK Dance Lab teams up with Alvernia University for a nine week dance series built for adults, whether you teach at a studio, take classes on campus, or have never set foot in a dance room before. Each session offers different levels and times, and the instructors are working dancers and educators who focus on the joy and connection that come from moving together.
The series moves through a wide range of styles. One stretch covers beginning jazz with Jessica Warchal-King and intermediate contemporary with Arielle Ridley. Another pairs beginning modern with Warchal-King alongside floor work with Megan Zalek. A third brings beginning ballet with Sarena Gable and Warchal-King plus flamenco with Amanda Pena.
JCWK Dance Lab is a Berks County based contemporary dance company led by founder and director Jessica Warchal-King, who is also an artist in residence in dance at Alvernia. Full class details are available at jcwkdancelab.org/summerseries.
