Vintage Night adds a new layer to the Reading Roots Market at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts in Reading, with racks of vintage clothing and crates of vinyl records and VHS tapes from Haul House Records set out alongside the usual market tables. Flash tattoos from Jimmy Maria and Dawson Staudt round out the finds, and more than a dozen local artist vendors fill in the rest with handmade work.

Thorn Alley Kitchen handles food and drink and hosts video and tabletop games, so you can make an evening of it with friends after you shop. Entertainment comes from Soul Papi and the SWAMPRAT Cypher Series, with live music at 7 PM.

It is an easy stop for anyone who likes digging through one of a kind pieces, meeting the makers behind them, and spending a late summer evening downtown. Each night market draws its own mix of vendors and performers, and this one leans into the hunt for vintage treasure.
