Willow Glen Park opens early for its Sunday flea market, and the parking lot along Park Avenue starts filling while it is still dark out. Hundreds of vendors set up across the grounds with antiques, crafts, tools, clothing, household goods, and fresh produce, so the early hours are when the best finds tend to go.
Food is a large part of the draw. More than twenty food vendors serve options you can eat on the property or carry home for later, which is why regulars show up hungry. Expect the smell of breakfast and fair favorites moving through the shaded picnic grove as the aisles get busy.
The market runs on Sundays through the warmer months at 94 Park Avenue in Sinking Spring, just off Route 422. Parking is on site, the grounds are walkable, and browsing at your own pace makes it an easy outing for families, collectors, and anyone who enjoys a morning of poking around tables. Weather permitting, as always with an outdoor market.
