United Way of Berks County points people who are struggling with the cost of medicine to SingleCare, a no-cost prescription savings discount card that provides up to 80% off medication products at major pharmacies, including Walmart, Walgreens and CVS.
The card is available for free to anyone who wants assistance paying for prescriptions, regardless of current insurance status. There is no income test printed for it.
What you get is a lower price at the pharmacy counter on medication products, up to 80% off at participating major pharmacies such as Walmart, Walgreens and CVS. The amount you save depends on the drug and the pharmacy.
