Whole Home Repair Program Waiting List From the Berks County Redevelopment Authority
The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Berks runs the Berks County Whole Home Repairs Program, and right now it is only keeping a waiting list. Effective 12/2/24 the Authority began maintaining that list because the Commonwealth did not provide funding for the program in the 2025-26 budget. The update is dated 1/29/25.

More broadly, the Redevelopment Authority provides access to federal, state, and local funds for community redevelopment and housing rehabilitation.
One other note on the same page: the Eviction Prevention Program is listed as launched 12-15-25 for low-to-moderate income Berks County households that have received a formal eviction notice, with completed applications returned by email only to mmartinez@berksredevelop.org. A separate update on the page states that as of 2/9/2025 applications are no longer being accepted, so ask the office which applies before you send anything.
