Whole Home Repair Program Waiting List From the Berks County Redevelopment Authority
The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Berks runs the Berks County Whole Home Repairs Program, and at this time it is only keeping a waiting list. In a program update dated 1/29/25, the Authority said that effective 12/2/24 it began maintaining a waiting list because the Commonwealth did not provide funding for the 2025-26 budget for the program.

The page does not say who qualifies, what repairs the program covers, how much a household can receive, what it costs, or when funding and applications may return. The Authority also posts a WHRP Report of Progress on the same page.
The Authority's office is at 400 E. Wyomissing Avenue, Ground Floor, Suite Two, Mohnton, PA 19540. The general office number is 610-478-6325, and hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. More broadly, the Redevelopment Authority provides access to federal, state, and local funds for community redevelopment and housing rehabilitation.
