Confidential Mailing Address for Victims From the Berks County District Attorney
The Berks County District Attorney's Office can connect you with the Address Confidentiality Program, which is administered through the Office of Victim Advocate and gives victims an alternate mailing address so their actual home address stays out of public records where the person who harmed them might find them.
It is for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking or stalking. The program is meant to be part of an overall safety plan for victims who are planning to move or who have recently moved to a place the perpetrator does not know about. It is not a witness protection program.
To get started, contact a Victim/Witness Coordinator at 610-478-6000. The District Attorney's Office is part of the County of Berks at 633 Court Street, Reading, PA 19601. The building is open 8 AM to 5 PM and is closed on holidays, and department hours may vary.
