Half Fare Bus Rides for People With Disabilities From BARTA
BARTA's Half Fare Program lets people with qualifying disabilities pay half the cash fare on BARTA's fixed-route bus service. The half fare cash fare is $0.90.
The program is for persons with qualifying disabilities. Persons under age 65 with a Medicare card qualify for this program.
Riders who have a Half Fare ID Card can ride at half the cash fare all day. You must show a Half Fare ID card or a Medicare card when you board to get the discount.
To get the Half Fare ID Card, an application must be filled out. On BARTA's Special Discounts fare page, click the application link, fill out the form and email the completed form to barta@bartabus.com.
