East Penn Manufacturing, a world class leader in lead-acid battery manufacturing, is seeking experienced Material Handlers at our Distribution Center in Topton, PA . Join our high-performing team where precision, safety, and innovation drive success. We're hiring skilled Warehouse Workers who thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and has experience operating forklifts, walkie riders, towmotors, and stacktrucks. Average starting wage of $27 per hour.

Plus a $5,000 Sign-On/Retention Bonus!

Opportunities available on 2 nd and 3 rd shift.

Consistent schedule and guaranteed 40 hours with opportunity for overtime.

2nd shift - 8 hour shifts from 3:00pm-11:00pm

3rd shift - 8 hour shifts from 11:00pm-7:00am

Responsibilities

Loads, unloads, and moves materials from one location to another within the warehouse using a towmotor, stack truck and/or electric truck (walkie).

Picking batteries to build a pallet based on customer order.

Packaging and shipping product on trailers.

Receives incoming material and logs it in computerized tracking system.

Verifies the correctness of incoming parts and counts

Sorts incoming parts and puts them away in the proper location.

Manifests pallets using a handheld RF scanner.

Use a computer to locate and move pallets.

Weekly inventory of product.

Qualifications

Experience operating forklifts, walkie riders, towmotors, and stacktrucks

Basic Reading Skills

Basic Math Skills (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying)

Basic computer skills (ability to interact with computer screens).

Ability to lift 25-50 pounds safely and efficiently.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Safety-conscious and detail-driven mindset.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Willingness to work overtime as needed.
