About the class
The book club meets Wednesday afternoons at 1 PM at the Berks Encore Douglassville Wellness & Activity Center on Weavertown Road. Members get together to talk over a book as a group. It is one of the regular activities the center offers for older adults.
The club meets on selected Wednesdays rather than every week, so check the schedule panel for the meeting dates. The center itself is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., with other activities on the calendar such as fitness classes, bingo, cards and games.
