Duplicate Bridge is a card group that meets on Thursday mornings at the Berks Encore Wernersville Wellness and Activity Center, 350 Sportsman Rd. Building 5, in Wernersville. Play starts at 9:30 a.m. In duplicate bridge, the same hands are played at more than one table, so the scoring shows how each pair handled the cards they were dealt.
The group is one of the activities Berks Encore runs for older adults at its Berks County centers, alongside wellness classes, games and other card groups. Partners and fellow players come from the local community, and the game runs in the center's activity space.
