Line Dancing with Jean and Linda is a regular dance class at the Berks Encore Douglassville Wellness and Activity Center on Weavertown Road. Jean and Linda lead the group through line dances, so you move and follow steps together with other dancers from the center.
The class meets Friday mornings and is part of the center's schedule of wellness classes and activities for older adults. A separate beginner line dancing class with Betsy meets earlier on the same mornings, so dancers who are new to line dancing have a place to start.
The class is funded by the Berks County Area Agency on Aging. The Douglassville center is open Monday through Friday, and you can reach the center manager at 610-582-1603 with questions or to let the staff know you plan to join. The center also posts closures and announcements on its Facebook page.
