Berks Encore holds a weekly pickleball game at Strausstown Lion's Park. Players meet on Friday mornings at 9. The game is part of the activity schedule offered through the Berks Encore Strausstown Wellness & Activity Center at 44 East Avenue in Strausstown.
Pickleball is played on a small court with paddles and a light plastic ball, so it is a good fit for older adults who want easy movement, some friendly competition and time with other players. This program is set up for seniors. Since play is outdoors at the park, come dressed for the weather and wear shoes you can move in.
