About the program
Readers of any age can practice out loud with a trained therapy dog at the Bernville Area Community Library. Boone and Tater Tot are part of the Berks Tales for Tails program, and they make good listeners in a low-stress, non-judgmental setting. Bring a book you are working on, or just come to spend some time with the dogs.
This is a drop-in program, so stop by any time during the afternoon window and stay as long as you like. No sign-up is needed. Reading to dogs can help build reading skills in children and can support emotional and social skills too.
