About the class
Acro 2 is an acrobatic dance class at Culture Shock Performing Arts Center for students ages 8 to 11. It meets once a week on Monday evenings through the school year, so dancers build on the same skills week after week.
This is the middle level in the studio's acro sequence, which starts with Acro 1 for younger children and continues with Acro 3 for ages 12 to 18. Culture Shock also runs a biweekly Acro Technique class and invitation-only competition prep groups, so dancers who want more time on skills have somewhere to go next.
