Junior Level Ballet and Lyrical Dance Class
In progress since Sep 1, through May 25 · $60.00 per month
About the class
Culture Shock Performing Arts Center offers this combined ballet and lyrical class at the junior level. Dancers work on ballet technique and then carry that training into lyrical, the softer, story driven style that grows out of ballet and jazz movement.
The class meets on Tuesday afternoons and runs across the school year season. It is open to all dancers placed at the junior level. Culture Shock also runs separate ballet, lyrical and contemporary classes at other levels, including a senior level ballet and lyrical class and an adult class, so dancers who are not sure where they fit can ask the studio about placement.
Dancers should come ready to move in dance clothing and shoes suited to ballet. Registration is handled online through the studio's class opening list, and spots are filled as they open.
