Polynesian 1 is the first level of Polynesian dance at Culture Shock Performing Arts Center. It is set up for young dancers ages 4 to 8, so no previous dance experience is assumed.

The class meets on Thursday evenings for 45 minutes and continues through the studio's dance season. Dancers learn in a group with others close to their own age. Culture Shock also runs Polynesian classes at higher levels for older dancers, so students have a place to move up as they grow.

Registration is handled online through the studio's class registration page, which shows current openings. We suggest asking the studio what your dancer should wear and bring before the first class.
