Starts Sat, Oct 24, 10:30 AM · $35 per person · Ages 6 and up
About the workshop
Paint a glowing moon and galaxy scene on a 16x20 canvas at this blacklight session with Painting with a Twist in Exeter Township. Laela leads the class step by step, so no experience is needed. It runs Saturday mornings and welcomes painters of any age, with kids and adults often painting side by side in the same group.
The studio uses acrylic paint, which is non-toxic but does stain fabric. Aprons are provided, and we suggest wearing clothes you would not mind getting a little paint on. Plan to arrive about 10 to 15 minutes early to check in, get smocked and settle in. You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks. The studio is bring your own beverage, so alcoholic drinks may be present, and anyone drinking must be 21 or over. Cups are provided, but bring your own ice.
Add-ons can be chosen when you book, including glitter or a do it yourself scented soy wax candle, which asks you to come 30 minutes early. If your group is booking seats separately, note your group or point person in the special request box so you can sit together. Adults who are only helping or watching do not need a seat, but let the studio know. Reserve online through the studio's event page.
