Superdome sports learn to skate practice sessions
Starts Sun, Oct 25, 11:00 AM · Session Fee: $135; $25 · Ages 3 and up

About the course

These Sunday practice sessions give Learn to Skate participants extra time on the ice to build their skills. The Learn to Skate coaching team supervises each session and sets up skating challenges and activities to keep the hour motivating and fun. This is supervised practice time, so it is not structured like a regular Learn to Skate class.
The sessions are open to skaters in the Learn to Skate program, from young children through adults. You can sign up for the full session of Sundays or drop in for a single session. On a scheduled bring-a-friend date, registered practice session skaters may invite a friend, and the friend needs to register ahead of time.
Skates are available to borrow at the rink if you do not have your own. Helmets, such as a bicycle, ski or ice hockey helmet, are required for skaters under seven, and loose, warm clothes and gloves are recommended, with form-fitting mid-calf socks for the best skate fit. Registration is online through the Body Zone and Superdome Sports program pages.
