Superdome Sports Learn to Skate Tot Class
Starts Thu, Nov 5, 1:00 PM · $150; $125 · Ages 3 to 4

About the course

Superdome Sports Learn to Skate gives young children their first steps on the ice in a supportive small group setting. Nationally certified instructors follow the Learn to Skate USA curriculum, using games and activities that build balance, movement and basic skating skills. Skaters are grouped by age and ability, so beginners start where they are comfortable. Classes meet on Thursday afternoons or Saturday mornings.
This class is for tots, and children must be potty-trained to take part. Helmets are required for skaters under seven, and a bicycle, ski or ice hockey helmet all work. Dress your child in loose, warm clothes with gloves, and use form-fitting mid-calf socks for the best skate fit. If you do not have skates, the rink has skates available for students at no charge.
Please arrive fifteen minutes before class, since there is a lot to do before skating begins. Park and walk your child into the facility, and stay at the rink until the class ends. Registration is for the full session only and closes once the first class begins. Sign up online through the registration link.
