About the workshop
Paint a Cotton Candy Swirl design step by step with instructor Laela at Painting with a Twist in Exeter Township. You choose your surface when you book, either a 16 by 20 canvas or a 16 by 20 wood plank board. The session runs on a Saturday afternoon, and the painting is recommended for ages 8 and up, so groups of kids and adults often paint side by side.
We use acrylic paint, which is non-toxic but does stain fabric. Aprons are provided, and it helps to wear clothes you would not mind getting a little paint on. Plan to arrive about 10 to 15 minutes early to check in, get smocked and settle in, since late arrivals may not be able to paint. Add-ons such as a glitter glue pen or a do it yourself scented soy wax candle can be chosen at checkout, and the candle calls for arriving 30 minutes early.
The studio is BYOB and serves paint water only. Cups are provided, you bring your own ice, and you must be 21 or over to drink. Snacks and drinks are welcome. Reserve your seat online through the studio event page.
