Fiber Friends is a hands-on fiber arts program for children at the Reading Public Library's Main Library. Each session invites kids to explore the world of fiber arts through fun activities and make something with their own hands.
Along the way, participants get to be creative, build fine motor skills and gain confidence from finishing their own handmade creations. The program is set up for children ages 6 to 11 and meets in the children's area at the Main Library on Fifth Street in Reading.
Sessions run on Monday afternoons for an hour. There is no cost to take part. Space and supplies are limited, so it helps to contact the library ahead of time to ask about availability.
