About the workshop
Paint a full moon scene on a 16 by 20 inch canvas with an artist leading the group step by step. The painting comes as a set or solo option, and Kale is the instructor. Sessions run Saturday late morning into the early afternoon.
Painters of any age are welcome, and this painting is recommended for ages 9 and up. All ages classes often mix kids and adults, so grown-ups are encouraged to paint as well. The studio uses non-toxic acrylic paint that does stain fabric. Aprons are provided, but wear clothing you do not mind getting a little paint on. This is a bring your own bottle studio, so alcoholic drinks may be present; you must be 21 or over to drink, cups are provided and you bring your own ice. Snacks and drinks are welcome.
Arrive about 10 to 15 minutes early to check in, get smocked and settle in, since late arrivals may not be able to paint. Coming with others who are booking separately? Give your group's name or point person in the special request box and the studio will seat you together. Upgrades such as glitter or a do it yourself scented soy wax candle can be added at checkout; candle makers arrive 30 minutes early. Book your seat online.
