About the workshop
Paint a holiday scene on a 16x20 canvas during a Sunday afternoon session, from 3 PM to 5 PM, at the Painting with a Twist studio on Perkiomen Avenue in Reading. This is an adults only class for painters 18 and over, and painters 16 and over may join when an adult painter comes with them.
The studio is bring your own bottle, so you can bring your own drinks and food. Cups, plates, napkins, corkscrews and bottle openers are provided, but ice and utensils are not. You must be 21 or over to drink alcohol in the studio, and staff may ask for ID. Plan to arrive 15 to 20 minutes before the start so you can get settled and smocked, or up to 30 minutes early if you want more time. Late arrivals may not be able to paint.
When you reserve, you can add glitter or a do it yourself scented soy wax candle to your seat. The candles use all natural soy wax, come in a choice of scents and burn for about 40 hours, and candle makers arrive 30 minutes early to pour their own. If you are coming with friends, note a seating request or a group name when you book online.
