About the workshop
In this one session workshop at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, you make a pair of felted ornaments to keep or give as gifts. You mix and match fabrics, felt and sequins, and use simple embroidery stitches to decorate them. The class is open to all skill levels, so you do not need past sewing or embroidery experience.
The workshop meets on a Tuesday morning from 10 AM to 12 PM in the Textiles Studio, room 316, on the third floor of GoggleWorks at 201 Washington Street in Reading. Sara Miller is listed as the instructor. It is open to ages 14 and up, and GoggleWorks asks for written permission for students under 18 who enroll in an adult course.
Registration is handled on the GoggleWorks class page, and payment is due when you sign up. Registration closes five business days before the class starts. Refund rules apply, with a cancellation fee for withdrawals made at least seven days ahead and no refunds after that point. Scholarships are available through GoggleWorks.
