About the workshop
This workshop introduces theorem painting, a technique where stencils carry the design and you learn how to work the paint. Participants use multiple stencils to apply oil paints to a fabric surface, building an 8 by 10 inch primitive Santa that looks hand painted when it is done. No experience is needed and all materials are supplied.
It is an adult program for ages 18 and up, run by Spring Twp Parks & Recreation on Sunday afternoons from 1 PM to 4 PM at the Township of Spring Administration Building on Windmill Road in Sinking Spring. Come ready to work with oil paints and wear clothes you do not mind getting paint on.
Registration is handled online through the township's ActiveCommunities page. The provider notes that spots are taken and asks interested people to sign up for the wait list, since another session may be scheduled if enough people are interested.
