About the workshop
Coffee with a Colonial is a relaxed morning of conversation about early America. Guests sit down with a favorite hot drink while Mr. Leamer talks through life in the 18th century and brings out period objects to look at and handle. The focus is discussion rather than lecture, the way people once caught up with one another over a cup of coffee.
The program is built for adults, ages 18 and up, and works for history buffs, coffee drinkers and anyone simply curious about the past. Come ready to ask questions and to take your time. Bring nothing in particular beyond your interest.
The workshop meets on a Saturday morning at the Township of Spring Administration Building on Windmill Road in Sinking Spring. Registration is handled online through Spring Township Parks & Recreation, and spots must be reserved ahead of the meeting. See the schedule panel for the current date and the registration cutoff.
