Lenape History and Their Ways of Living
Starts Fri, Sep 25, 6:00 PM · Free · Ages 12 and up

About the workshop
Historian Kathy Grim leads this evening workshop on the Lenape People, the earliest residents of the Berks County area. She covers local Native American history, culture and daily life, so you get a picture of how people lived here long before the townships were drawn.
The session includes a close look at Lenape artifacts, time for questions, and a taste of sa'pan, a traditional Lenape treat. It runs Friday evening at the Township of Spring Fire Station in Sinking Spring and is open to ages 12 and up, so older children can attend alongside adults.
Spring Township Parks & Recreation asks that you register ahead through their online activity search. Check your email a few days before the program, since the department sends updated details and directions to the facility.
