Ways of Wildlife
Starts Sat, Oct 3, 1:00 PM · Free · Ages 4 and up

About the workshop
Ways of Wildlife is an outdoor program with Naturalist Hemlock Hannah at Cacoosing Meadows Park Pavilion. Families look at how local animals live, from why White-Tailed Deer flick their tails to why grey squirrels stay so busy in the fall. Pelts, bones and other hands-on items are part of the session.
After the indoor look at wildlife, the group heads out for a discovery walk in the park to search for signs animals leave behind. The program runs on a Saturday afternoon and lasts about an hour. It suits ages 4 and up, and it is open to adults with or without children.
Pre-registration is required, and every person attending must be registered individually. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian registered to attend with them. Sign up through the Spring Township Parks and Recreation registration link, and check your email in the days before the program for updated details and directions. If you register and cannot come, call or email the Parks and Recreation Office so the spot can go to someone else.
