Exceptional Team Members

At the heart of the FYE experience is our staff. Many customers highlight Sandy, whose friendly greetings and genuine enthusiasm set a positive tone for every shopper’s visit. One fan praises her “6-star performance,” noting how “Sandy and her posse…the kindness makes up for [the price].” Whether you need a recommendation for the next vinyl to add to your collection or assistance with a DVD deal, Sandy and our team go out of their way to ensure you leave with a smile.

We recognize that customer service can be inconsistent at times—some shoppers have reported feeling ignored or rushed. Your feedback is invaluable, and we continually invest in staff training and support to elevate every interaction from friendly to exceptional.

Competitive Deals & Value

True value seekers know that the key to smart shopping at FYE is keeping an eye on promotions:

• Our Buy-2-Get-1-for-$1 DVD Deal has become legendary among local movie buffs. “I come every few months and stock up—staff is always so helpful,” raves one regular.
• The trade-in program and in-store credit let you convert old CDs, DVDs, or vinyl into buying power for your next purchase. Shoppers have walked away with substantial credit—one customer reports “almost $175 of in-store credit” after trading in their collection.

We’re aware that some patrons feel our sticker prices can be higher than online alternatives. To offset this, we strive to deliver tangible savings through limited-time offers, loyalty perks, and the convenience of instant in-store credit when you trade or sell your media. If ever you spot an advertised price discrepancy, please let us know so we can make it right.

Membership & Subscriptions

FYE offers a free VIP membership program that unlocks special early-access deals, birthday rewards, and exclusive coupons. While many customers appreciate these perks, we’ve heard feedback that checkout invitations to join can feel overly persistent. We are refining our approach to ensure invitations are helpful—not harassing—and never intrusive. Your trust matters to us, and we aim for every interaction to feel welcoming.

Clean, Curated Atmosphere

Whether you’re browsing the latest rock LPs or seeking a new graphic novel, FYE strives to maintain an inviting atmosphere:

• Many guests find the store “clean” with “well-put-together displays” that enhance product discovery.
• We’re also aware of occasional concerns about odors or a cluttered feel. Our management team is committed to consistent housekeeping, regular deep cleaning, and optimal product organization to ensure every corner of the store reflects our high standards.

Hassle-Free Returns & Trade-Ins

We understand that shopping for media and electronics can sometimes lead to buyer’s remorse or product defects. We’re actively working to improve clarity and consistency around our return and trade-in policies. While some customers have faced frustrating experiences, our goal is to implement streamlined procedures so you can confidently return or exchange items, especially those that arrive damaged or don’t meet expectations.

K-Pop & Collector’s Paradise

For niche music fans, FYE in Wyomissing has become the go-to spot for K-Pop albums, limited-edition collectibles, and international releases you rarely see elsewhere. “If you like K-Pop and don’t know where to get an album, you should probably go to FYE,” recommends one satisfied shopper.
