Aquatics & Reptile Expertise That Inspires Confidence

Petco Reading’s aquatics department is a local standout. From goldfish to elaborate tropical fish setups, customers trust our experts to help them transform blank tanks into thriving underwater worlds.

• First-time fish keepers rave about the guidance they receive: “Josh, Missy, and Randy … knowledgeable, always ready to help … my tank is thriving.”
• Reptile enthusiasts find a well-curated selection of bearded dragons, ball pythons, and other fascinating species. Though some patrons have noted that prices can run higher than small-scale breeders, our team’s deep understanding of reptile care ensures you bring home a healthy, well-attended animal.

While a few customers have raised concerns about livestock health, many others report successful, long-term aquarium and terrarium projects with our advice and ongoing support.

Premium Grooming & Training Services

Petco Reading offers grooming and training services designed to nurture both pets and their owners:

• Puppy Training with Jayelynn: Our six-week puppy program, led by Jayelynn, earns consistent praise for its patience and clear instruction. “Trainer was great—very patient with our crazy Labrador,” one customer noted.
• Creative Grooming with Chelsea: Known for her gentle touch and imaginative styling, Chelsea transforms even the most anxious pups into picture-perfect pets. “When I picked Winnie up she had her hair styled in a mohawk and looked so cute!”

Though scheduling hiccups and occasional communication lapses have been reported, our team is committed to improving coordination and ensuring every appointment runs smoothly.

Clean, Convenient Layout & Service Options

Petco Reading balances a cozy, smaller-format footprint with efforts to keep aisles clean and merchandise accessible. While a few shoppers mention tighter walkways, most appreciate the organized displays and well-maintained environments.

• Curbside Pickup & Checkout: From seamless, professional curbside service—“a pleasant man immediately appeared, put my order in the trunk, and wished me a nice day”—to attentive in-store checkout lines, we strive to respect your time and make shopping hassle-free.

We continually review feedback on cleanliness, parking lot upkeep, and traffic flow to enhance every aspect of your visit.

Competitive Pricing & Exceptional Value

Although some customers feel live animal and supply prices are steep, Petco Reading offers value through:

• Regular promotions, discounts, and membership perks that help offset premium pricing.
• Exclusive brand products and specialty items—many of which aren’t available at big-box competitors.
• The reassurance that every purchase is backed by knowledgeable staff, robust return policies, and ongoing support for your pet’s health and happiness.
