A Picturesque Farmstay Setting

Pull off the highway and leave the city bustle behind as you wind down a long driveway framed by mature trees, meadows, and the soothing babble of Pigeon Creek. Guests immediately remark on the impeccably maintained grounds—the manicured lawns, flowering gardens, and water features set the tone for a peaceful escape. From your porch you might spot blue herons fishing at dawn, geese gliding across the pond, or hear bullfrogs serenading the twilight hours. This scenic atmosphere isn’t just photogenic; it genuinely soothes the spirit, making Pigeon Creek an idyllic backdrop for rest and renewal.

Spotless Accommodations & Thoughtful Comforts

Cleanliness is at the heart of every guest’s review. Inside the main house, each room—from the cozy Betty Room to the spacious suites—shines with meticulous care. Reviewers consistently praise the spotlessly laundered linens, gleaming private baths, and polished hardwood floors. The Betty Room, in particular, has earned acclaim for its private porch overlooking the lake. Imagine sipping morning coffee in Adirondack chairs as the sun rises over the water—an experience many guests describe as their favorite quiet moment of the stay. Accessibility features, including a stair lift and an accessible tub, ensure that comfort extends to everyone.

Delectable Breakfasts & Culinary Treats

At Pigeon Creek, breakfast goes beyond a simple continental spread. Innkeepers Lennia and Rick take genuine pride in crafting a morning feast that fuels exploration or leisurely porch lounging. A well-stocked kitchen invites you to assemble your own snack box any time of day. Fresh fruits, local cheeses, cereals, and homemade breads stand ready alongside savory freezer items and chilled beverages. Guests rave about the generous portions and thoughtful variety: “The food provided was perfect and well appreciated by my girlfriend and myself,” one couple noted, while another enthused over homemade candy and bread waiting upon their arrival. Every detail reflects a commitment to hospitality that feels as warm and nurturing as home.

Personalized Service & Seamless Booking

From your first email to the moment you check out, communication at Pigeon Creek is prompt, clear, and caring. Lennia takes extra steps—sharing detailed directions to avoid GPS mishaps, inviting early check-ins when possible, and remembering special requests like a favorite iced tea chilled in your room. This level of personalized attention transforms a simple stay into a bespoke experience. Guests highlight how “Lennia and Rick are wonderful hosts and have a gift of hospitality,” and many return year after year, confident they’ll find both excellence and genuine friendship beneath the farmhouse roof.
