The Allentown Art Museum is a free art museum in Allentown, PA. Its galleries hold Italian, Dutch, Flemish and German paintings from the 1300s to 1700s, American art from the 1700s to the present, and a 1915 Frank Lloyd Wright library.
Admission is free for everyone, and parking in the lot next door is free too. The Kress Gallery holds Italian, Dutch, Flemish and German paintings and sculpture from the 1300s to 1700s, and the museum houses Frank Lloyd Wright's 1915 library from the Francis W. Little House, relocated from Minnesota. Landscape memorial windows by Tiffany Studios are on view, and the second floor changes with temporary exhibitions.
Before you go
Park free in the museum lot at Fifth and Linden streets. Large bags, backpacks and umbrellas go in lockers by the front desk. Photos without flash are fine in the permanent collection galleries. Food and drink stay outside the galleries. Manual wheelchairs are available at the front desk.
