America On Wheels is a transportation museum in Allentown, PA, with rare vehicles and hands-on exhibits in its galleries.
The current shows put independent makers like Hudson, Studebaker, Packard and Nash on the floor, next to a LEGO tribute to transportation built with the Pennsylvania LEGO User Group and a LEGO Batmobile made from 344,187 bricks, on loan from General Motors. Restoration Center tours run Wednesdays and Fridays at 1 pm for $4.00 on top of admission and take about 45 minutes.
Before you go
Parking is beside the building, with room for large groups. Kids 12 and under get in free on Thursdays, and seniors 65 and over are free the first Thursday of each month. Closed most major holidays.
