Amish Farm & House is a 15-acre farm with an 1805 farmhouse, a one-room schoolhouse and farm animals in Lancaster, PA, that runs guided house tours and bus tours of the Amish countryside.

The 30-minute guided house tour walks through the 1805 farmhouse, its kitchen and bedrooms, and explains Amish customs and faith; no reservation is needed and tickets are sold on site. The Classic bus tour adds a 90-minute drive 25 miles into the countryside past farms, schools and buggies, with the farm and schoolhouse afterward. Seasonal tours add a summer Sunset Dinner at an Amish home and Christmas Cookie Tours.

Before you go

Reservations recommended for bus tours (same-day by phone, 717-394-6185); arrive 30 minutes early. Free parking. The bus has a wheelchair lift and the farm and restrooms are accessible; the farmhouse's second floor is up a flight of stairs. House tour not recommended under age 5.
