My Gut Instinct hosts the Guts & Glory Digestive & Wellness Expo at Jim Dietrich Park in Reading, with Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center returning as title sponsor. Admission is free, the grounds are pet friendly, and the day is built for all ages, so families, walkers, and anyone curious about feeling better can simply show up and explore.
More than 100 vendors and community partners cover nutrition, fitness, preventive health, integrative medicine, mental well being, and everyday balance. Expect free health screenings, hands on educational booths, expert talks on nutrition and fitness, massage and yoga, fitness zones, stress relief tips from holistic practitioners, a farmer's and maker's market, a live DJ, kid activities, first responders, and food and drink for sale. Guests can walk through a large scale inflatable colon exhibit that shows common conditions up close, cheer the veggie race featuring the R-Phils veggies sponsored by Drexel University College of Medicine, and join live demos where participation is welcome.
The layout is organized around six pillars of whole body health: NOURISH, REST, MOVE, PREVENT, GLOW, and COMMUNITY, each zone with its own signature activities. The rain date is October 4 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
