Akron RubberDucks @ Reading Fightin Phils
June 8, 2027 · 1950 Centre Ave, Reading
About the event
Double-A baseball returns to FirstEnergy Stadium as the Akron RubberDucks visit the Reading Fightin Phils on June 8, 2027. Reading has been part of Berks County summers for generations, and the ballpark on Centre Avenue remains one of the most familiar gathering spots in the region.
The Fightin Phils are the Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, which means the players on the field are often a step or two away from Citizens Bank Park. Akron serves the same role for the Cleveland Guardians, so both rosters are stocked with prospects working their way up. Lineups and probable pitchers are typically posted closer to game day.
FirstEnergy Stadium offers the usual mix of ballpark food, between-inning entertainment, and a view of the action from just about every seat. It makes for an easy weeknight outing whether you follow the standings closely or just want to spend an evening outdoors.
Hosted by Reading Fightin Phils on BerksConnect.
