Exeter Township Parks and Recreation brings its Fall Festival and Hayride to Trout Run Sports Complex, with the hayride as the centerpiece of the evening. The complex sits off the intersection of East and West Neversink Roads, giving the festival plenty of open ground for a crowd of neighbors to spread out and enjoy the season.
Past editions of this township tradition have paired the hayride with games, crafts, barrel train rides, a bounce house, music and dancing, plus food and beverage trucks parked on site. It is the kind of fall outing where kids find something to do right away and parents run into half a dozen people they know.
Trout Run does not allow pets, so plan to leave them at home. Residents interested in volunteering or sponsoring can reach the Recreation Department for details.
