Trunk or Treat comes to the parking lot at 1105 Berkshire Blvd in Wyomissing on Friday, October 23 at 6:00 PM. Car trunks get decorated for the season and stocked with candy, and costumed trick or treaters make their way from one to the next in a bright, open, well supervised space.
The format is a favorite with families who want the fun of trick or treating without the long walk or the unfamiliar doorsteps. Everything sits in one large lot, so younger kids can move at their own pace and grown ups can keep everyone in sight. Costumes are encouraged for all ages.
This free gathering is hosted at the Berkshire Boulevard office building that houses Family Guidance Center, a counseling agency that serves Berks County. It is an easy stop for neighbors across Wyomissing and the greater Reading area looking to kick off Halloween weekend.
